Chuck Murphy was born and raised in Baltimore County. He is the youngest of the four children of Charles and Christine Murphy. Chuck graduated from The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, where he was a student-athlete playing lacrosse and football. Chuck attended Hampden-Sydney College and graduated with a degree in History and Political science.

Chuck met his wife, Mollie Menzies Murphy, in 2007. Mollie was born and raised in North Baltimore County. She grew up on a horse farm and graduated from Oldfields School. Mollie later graduated from Lynchburg College with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Chuck and Mollie were married in 2014.

Chuck’s career has offered him the opportunity to gain a wide array of business experience. He currently serves as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst for the Respol Trading USA Corporation. His financial and business expertise has prepared him well to be an effective Delegate for our community.

Chuck and Mollie live in Cockeysville in a restored farmhouse which was built in 1844. They are very active in the Catholic Church and enjoy their roles as aunt and uncle to their nieces and nephews. Chuck has also served as a youth sports coach in our community.
